About Roman blinds
Roman Blinds Style & Fitment Guide
Roman blinds combine the softness of drapery fabric with the compact convenience of a shade.
How Roman Blinds Function
When raised, Roman shades fold upwards into neat horizontal pleats. When lowered, they form a smooth fabric panel covering the window, providing tailored style in compact rooms where full-length curtains might take up too much floor or wall space.
Mounting & Stack Clearance
Because Roman blinds stack at the top when raised, outside mounting above the window lintel allows the maximum amount of unobstructed daylight through the glass when the blind is open.
