Inside Mount vs Outside Mount
- Inside Mount: Positioned inside the window recess for a flush architectural look. Requires sufficient window frame depth.
- Outside Mount: Fastened to the wall or architrave above the window, covering the entire opening to minimize perimeter light gaps.
Measuring for Blinds
- Inside Mount: Measure the width at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the narrowest measurement.
- Outside Mount: Measure the overall area you wish the blind to cover, adding overlap past the frame edges where space allows.
